Salary: $80,000–$110,000 + Bonus + Relocation Assistance
Position Overview
A global electronics trading company is seeking a Japanese-English Bilingual Supply Chain Manager to play a key role in launching and developing its new supply chain operation in McAllen, Texas.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain professional who enjoys building processes, improving operations, and taking ownership. Candidates with Supervisor or Team Lead experience who are ready to step into a management role are also encouraged to apply.
Initially, you will work independently to establish operations, with the opportunity to build and lead a larger team as the business expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and customer service.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, 3PL providers, and the headquarters in Japan.
- Establish and improve operational workflows to support new business and optimize Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD).
- Utilize ERP systems to support daily operations and adapt to future system implementations.
- Develop efficient operational procedures and implement best practices.
- Build and lead the supply chain organization as the U.S. operation grows.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Perform other related projects and operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- 6+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Sourcing, Distribution, Logistics, or related operations
- Experience using ERP systems in daily operations
- Experience improving operational processes
- Business-level Japanese and English communication skills
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Willingness to relocate to McAllen, TX (Relocation assistance available)
Preferred
- Experience as a Supply Chain Manager, Supervisor, Team Lead, or similar leadership role
- Experience working for a trading company, distributor, manufacturer, or procurement organization
- Experience coordinating with logistics providers and 3PL warehouses
- Experience handling high-volume inventory or multi-SKU operations
