Supply Chain Manager

Location: McAllen / Los Indios, TX (Hybrid)

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 + Bonus + Relocation Assistance

Position Overview

A global electronics trading company is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to play a key role in developing and expanding its supply chain operations in South Texas.

This position requires 6+ years of relevant supply chain experience, hands-on ERP experience, and a strong understanding of multiple areas of supply chain operations, such as inventory, logistics, warehousing, procurement, and customer fulfillment.

Candidates with Supply Chain Manager experience are preferred; however, experienced Supervisors or Team Leads who are ready to step into a management role are also encouraged to apply.

This is a hands-on position for someone who can manage day-to-day operations while establishing processes, improving workflows, and eventually building and leading a larger team as the business expands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Coordinate with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, 3PL warehouses, and overseas headquarters.
  • Manage inventory flow, logistics activities, and operational priorities to support customer requirements.
  • Establish operational processes for new business and continuously improve Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD).
  • Use ERP systems as part of daily supply chain operations and support future system implementations.
  • Develop and standardize operating procedures and best practices.
  • Build and lead the supply chain organization as the U.S. operation grows.
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, customs requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Perform other related projects and operational duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Sourcing, Distribution, Logistics, or closely related operations.
  • Hands-on experience across multiple areas of supply chain operations, such as inventory management, logistics, warehousing, procurement, order fulfillment, or supplier coordination.
  • Hands-on experience using an ERP system in daily operations.
  • Leadership experience or demonstrated readiness to step into a managerial role.
  • Experience establishing, improving, or standardizing operational processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with customers, suppliers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
  • Willingness to work in the McAllen / Los Indios, TX area.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a Supply Chain Manager, Supervisor, Team Lead, or similar leadership role.
  • Experience working for a Japanese company or within a Japanese corporate business environment is a big plus.
  • Spanish language skills and/or experience working with customers or business partners in Mexico.
  • Electronics industry experience.
  • Experience with a trading company, distributor, manufacturer, or procurement organization.
  • Experience coordinating with freight forwarders, 3PL warehouses, suppliers, and international logistics partners.
  • Experience with In-Bond operations, IMMEX, or Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) is a strong plus.
  • Experience managing high-volume inventory or multi-SKU operations.
  • Experience with international import/export and customs processes.
