Job Title: Project Coordinator, Japanese Company Support & Research (Full-Time)

Work Schedule

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM with 1h unpaid lunch)
  • Hybrid work model: minimum 3 days in-office, up to 2 days remote (100% office during onbaording period)

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support research and business initiatives related to Japanese companies operating in the U.S. Midwest. This role focuses on conducting market and economic research, preparing analytical reports, and supporting digital marketing and event execution. The position also includes administrative coordination and collaboration with internal and international stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on investment trends, regional economic conditions, and corporate activities in the U.S. Midwest
  • Prepare analytical reports, briefings, and surveys for business stakeholders
  • Analyze business activities and investment costs for Japanese companies in the region
  • Support digital marketing initiatives and assist in planning and executing events and promotional programs
  • Coordinate administrative tasks including scheduling, travel arrangements, and database management
  • Prepare reports, documents, and presentation materials
  • Collaborate with global teams and participate in training and professional development activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be able to travel as needed (A few times a year. short trips like 1-2 nights per each travel.)

Required Skills

  • Japanese at an idiomatic level (writing, reading, speaking), English at business and above level.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to edit, proofread, and summarize effectively
  • Highly organized with strong time management and coordination skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual salary: $47,400
