We are seeking a driven Sales Representative to support B2B sales activities within the automotive sector. This role includes managing bids and quotations, processing purchase orders, coordinating projects, and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and vendors. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with customer-facing sales and an understanding of automotive production processes and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct B2B sales activities with automotive industry clients
Assess customer needs and prepare accurate bids and quotations
Process, track, and manage purchase orders
Maintain and expand customer relationships; provide regular sales reporting
Coordinate with vendors/suppliers to meet customer requirements
Visit customer offices (within driving distance) to maintain strong partnerships
Manage projects from proposal and bidding through onsite installation
Understand automotive production processes to support sales activities
Support import/export and foreign trade documentation
Travel regularly—up to 35%
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of B2B sales experience, preferably with Japanese companies
Experience preparing bids/quotations and processing purchase orders
Proven experience in client and vendor management
Project management experience from order inception through delivery
Knowledge of automotive manufacturing equipment, production lines, and machine specifications
Experience with sales/cost analysis, reporting, and negotiation
Strong English communication skills
Japanese language skills (speaking, reading, writing) preferred
