Position Overview
A Japanese food manufacturing company is seeking a motivated Sales Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, driving sales of their products, and ensuring high-quality customer service within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage customer relationships to maximize business opportunities.
Travel to customer facilities to provide support, product information, and service.
Achieve sales goals through proactive customer engagement and territory management.
Communicate new product and service opportunities, customer needs, and market trends to internal teams.
Collaborate with accounting, operations, and logistics teams to support sales objectives.
Prepare timely reports and participate in quarterly inventory counts.
Qualifications
Language skills: Proficiency in Japanese, Chinese, or Korean plus English.
High School Diploma / GED required; college degree preferred.
1–2 years of sales experience in the Asian food industry preferred.
Knowledge of Asian groceries and services.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office); willingness to learn ERP systems (Oracle).
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
