Role: Product Marketing / Product Management Manager

Position Overview
This is a manager-level, successor-track role with a clear path into department leadership. The position blends product management and product marketing with a strong retail focus, and includes close, day-to-day collaboration with teams in Japan. It’s well-suited for someone who enjoys setting direction while staying hands-on, and who thrives in a collaborative, globally connected environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Product Manager, overseeing product planning, development, and ongoing improvements
- Conduct market, customer, and competitor analysis with a strong emphasis on retail and B2C markets
- Define product concepts, requirements, and priorities aligned with business goals
- Partner closely with internal teams and Japan-based counterparts on product initiatives
- Support marketing strategy, product positioning, and product launches
- Coordinate with sales and cross-functional teams to drive product success
- Gradually take on broader marketing leadership and departmental responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in product management and product marketing
- Mandatory experience in the retail industry
- Background in B2C marketing processes preferred
- Experience marketing stationery, consumer goods, or similar retail products is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of Japanese business culture and cross-cultural collaboration
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills
Language Requirements
- Full professional proficiency in English (read, write, speak)
- Japanese language ability is not required, but cultural understanding is essential
