Position Overview
This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced Warehouse Manager who enjoys building structure, improving efficiency, and leading large teams. You’ll oversee day-to-day warehouse operations while setting clear processes, optimizing space and inventory flow, and keeping productivity high in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and control all warehouse operations to align with business objectives
- Lead and manage a team of 35–40 non-union warehouse staff and drivers
- Assign work, monitor performance, and promote a positive, accountable work culture
- Design warehouse layout, space utilization, and workflow organization
- Establish and maintain SOPs, including 5S and process improvements
- Oversee receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, and inventory maintenance
- Manage inventory accuracy, stock control, and timely delivery of goods
- Monitor costs, productivity, and performance metrics to ensure efficiency
- Ensure accurate documentation, data entry, and system recordkeeping
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of successful warehouse management experience
- Strong leadership, people management, and organizational skills
- Proven experience managing a diverse workforce
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Spanish language skills strongly preferred
