We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Construction Superintendent to join a well-established construction company. Responsibilities
Manage and oversee multiple landscape construction projects simultaneously
Conduct routine site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met
Perform pre- and post-construction inspections, assess project feasibility, and recommend improvements
Ensure all projects are completed according to plans, within budget, and on schedule
Collaborate closely with landscape architects, developers, and clients throughout each project
Manage equipment usage, maintenance, and storage efficiently
Work with Foremen to ensure crews perform safely, productively, and in compliance with regulations
Plan daily work schedules, assign teams, provide training, and supervise on-site staff
Assist in hiring, coaching, and evaluating field personnel as needed
Ensure crews have proper safety conditions, hydration, and rest periods according to labor laws
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must have a C-27 Landscaping Contractor License
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience managing crews and projects
Minimum 5 years of experience in landscape construction or related field
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, landscape plans, and specifications
Strong project planning and problem-solving skills
Excellent time management and organizational abilities
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
Effective communication and leadership skills
Bilingual in English and Spanish required
Basic to intermediate computer skills preferred
