A high-end fine jewelry house rooted in artisanal craftsmanship seeks a Client Advisor for its New York flagship boutique. The brand is known for shaping custom-blended noble metals around ethically sourced diamonds and rare, unenhanced gemstones. Each piece is conceived with patience and restraint, intended to endure as a timeless heirloom.

This role is suited for individuals who view jewelry as a deeply personal and lasting expression. The Client Advisor will accompany clients with quiet confidence and refined expertise, delivering an experience defined by thoughtful service, considered guidance, and understated elegance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accompany clients with attentive and knowledgeable guidance, conveying the story, craftsmanship, and significance of each piece while cultivating long-term relationships.
  • Contribute to the boutique’s commercial success through thoughtful client engagement and refined sales practices aligned with the brand’s values.
  • Maintain the boutique’s visual and operational excellence, including stock management, presentation, and overall organization.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support daily operations and uphold a calm, harmonious boutique environment.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives, events, and storytelling activities that reflect the brand’s identity, both in-store and across digital channels.
  • Partner with an overseas atelier to continuously refine selling skills and ensure consistency in client experience and brand expression.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of fine jewelry, including diamonds, gemstones, and precious metals, with the ability to communicate their nuances and value with subtlety.
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles, with a relationship-driven approach and a refined understanding of sales within a luxury context.
  • Familiarity with boutique operations, including inventory management and basic financial awareness, handled with precision and discretion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling thoughtful client engagement and smooth internal collaboration.
  • Expert-level or fluent Japanese proficiency is required.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring that presentation, service, and inventory meet the brand’s standards of excellence.
  • Self-driven and proactive, with the ability to act independently while embodying the brand’s philosophy and values.
