Salary Range: $95,000 – $125,000 USD per annum (Commensurate with experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a results-oriented, bilingual Business Process Improvement Manager to solve critical data and process challenges for our US operations. Our core business systems—including Salesforce, QuickBooks, Propertyware, and Buildertrend—are powerful tools, but they currently operate in data silos, leading to inefficient manual reporting and a lack of real-time visibility into our business performance.

This is a "player-coach" role where you will not only lead and mentor two junior analysts but also personally drive high-impact improvement projects. You will collaborate directly with front-line business users in acquisitions, renovations, leasing, and accounting to understand their pain points and deliver cross-functional solutions. A key initiative will be to centralize business data into our data warehouse (Google BigQuery) to transform current manual workflows. As a leader, you will also serve as a critical technical bridge to our IT headquarters in Japan.

Key Responsibilities

     Business Analysis and Process Optimization

Partner closely with key stakeholders across US business units to identify operational challenges and inefficiencies.

Design and propose comprehensive solutions—including process

re-engineering, workflow automation, and data integration strategies—and gain buy-in from management.

Personally lead the implementation of solutions, including system configuration, testing, and managing development tasks with internal or external IT partners.

     Team Leadership and Mentorship

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of two junior analysts through 1-on-1s, technical guidance, and collaborative problem-solving to foster a culture of high achievement.

Drive the solution design and technical approach for all team projects, ensuring quality and alignment with business goals.

     US-Japan Bridge and Stakeholder Management

Act as a hub, deeply understanding the needs of both US and Japan-based stakeholders to architect optimal solutions.

Maintain clear communication regarding project progress, challenges, and outcomes with all parties in both English and Japanese.

Required Skills and Experience

Languages: Business-level fluency in both Japanese and English.

Project Leadership: Experience leading complex projects from requirements definition to deployment, including mentoring junior team members.

Process Automation: Professional background in business process analysis and automation.

Data Analysis & SQL: Proficiency in database concepts and advanced SQL skills for data analysis and manipulation.

Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for SaaS API integrations and data processing.

Mentorship: Demonstrated ability and willingness to mentor and develop junior-level talent.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Salesforce Experience: Advanced experience with Salesforce administration and configuration. Development experience (Apex, etc.) is a strong plus.

US Real Estate Tech Knowledge: Familiarity with property management (e.g., Propertyware) or construction management (e.g., Buildertrend) software is a strong plus.
