Branch Manager – International Freight Forwarding

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead and grow a high-volume International Freight Forwarding operation. This role has full responsibility for branch performance, including P&L ownership, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and team leadership. The Branch Manager plays a key role in executing strategic initiatives while driving continuous improvement and profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day branch operations across Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Customs Brokerage
- Own P&L performance, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI management
- Translate corporate and regional strategies into executable branch-level plans
- Drive process improvement initiatives using continuous improvement / Kaizen principles
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing leadership team and staff
- Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and employee development planning
- Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, collaboration, and customer focus
- Maintain and grow key customer relationships; engage directly with customers as needed
- Analyze operational performance, costs, and service quality to ensure goals are met
- Collaborate closely with regional leadership and product leaders to align strategy
- Lead special projects and initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience in International Freight Forwarding or Logistics
- Minimum 3 years in a leadership or branch management role
- Strong working knowledge of air, ocean, and customs operations
- Proven experience managing budgets, P&L, and operational KPIs
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence without direct authority
- Experience working in complex, fast-paced environments
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
