Position Summary
This part-time Administrative Assistant role supports daily office operations in a small business environment. The position focuses primarily on administrative and accounting support, with some light order processing, inventory tracking, and packing work performed within the office (not in a warehouse).
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Data entry and general administrative support
- Light bookkeeping using Excel and QuickBooks
- Assistance with month-end closing and audit preparation
- Order processing and coordination with sales/account team
- Inventory tracking and stock checks
- Light packing and shipping tasks within the office environment
- Customer support via email and phone
- Other general office support as needed
Qualifications
- Detail-oriented, well organized, and deadline-focused
- Ability to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional communication via email and phone
- Team-oriented and flexible
- Business-level English and Japanese required
- (English phone communication preferred but not mandatory)
Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with QuickBooks required
- ERP experience preferred
- Strong customer service and email communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
