Required Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of relevant sales experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills; proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Interest/knowledge related to electronic engineering for OEM products is a plus; Japanese language skills preferred (not required).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for customer visits; regional travel required.
  • Physical: ability to work at a computer, attend on-site meetings, and travel; generally “Medium Work” up to ~5 lbs occasionally.

Responsibility

  • Drive sales growth and profitability within an assigned territory; meet targets/KPIs and manage forecasts, reports, and quoting.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities (quoting, demand creation); implement strategic sales plans; monitor bookings/billings to ensure recovery actions when needed.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned accounts, including technical presentations, specifications, project coordination, and securing design wins.
  • Build long-term, solution-oriented relationships; conduct regular customer visits and communications.
  • Collaborate with engineering, technical support, manufacturing, distributors/sales reps, and supply chain to fulfill customer needs; ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Track market trends, competitors, and opportunities; contribute in sales meetings with field feedback.
  • Coordinate globally with overseas counterparts; submit detailed contact reports within 48 hours of engagements.
  • Deliver sales/technical presentations; support new product introductions, reference designs, and design-in activities with marketing/engineering.
