Administrative Coordinator (Part-Time)

Employment Type: Part-Time, Temporary

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, approximately 4 hours per day

Working Hours: Flexible start time between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM

Work Arrangement: Onsite (5 days per week)

Pay Rate: $21.50 – $22.00 per hour (DOE)

Position Overview

A well-established Japanese food company is seeking a friendly, organized, and flexible Part-Time Administrative Coordinator to support daily office operations.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, handling a variety of administrative tasks, and supporting different departments in a collaborative office environment.

The ideal candidate is a dependable team player who can adapt to changing priorities, stay organized, and take initiative when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative and office support to multiple departments.
  • Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier services, including UPS.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flight reservations.
  • Prepare and organize reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other business documents.
  • Assist with meeting scheduling and general office coordination.
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies and assist with day-to-day office needs.
  • Communicate and coordinate with various internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support occasional special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Previous administrative, office support, or customer service experience preferred; entry-level candidates will also be considered.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to assist with various responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with different departments.
  • Availability to work onsite Monday through Friday.

Preferred:

  • Japanese-English bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.
  • Experience working in a Japanese company or multicultural office environment.
  • Experience coordinating business travel or providing general office support.
