Administration & Accounting Coordinator – Japanese bilingual
Location: Lower Manhattan, New York, NY
Work Style: Hybrid – 3 days in the office
Salary: $65,000~ (DOE)

Position Overview
A media company in New York is seeking an Administration & Accounting Coordinator to support its general administration, accounting, and production-related operations.
This position serves as an important link between the back office and production teams, supporting a wide range of responsibilities including accounting administration, office operations, travel arrangements, scheduling, and coordination related to sports broadcasting and program production.
Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices and employee expense reimbursements
- Perform data entry and maintain accounting and administrative records
- Assist with quarterly and year-end closing documentation
- Support bank reconciliations and other basic accounting functions
- Assist with general office administration and daily office operations
- Manage insurance-related contracts, documents, and administrative records
- Respond flexibly to urgent or unexpected administrative matters
- Coordinate closely with production staff and other internal teams
- Arrange domestic business travel related to sports broadcasting and production
- Provide scheduling and logistical support as needed
- Support various administrative projects and operational needs
The role is designed for someone comfortable handling both accounting support and broader administrative responsibilities; advanced accounting expertise is not required.
Qualifications
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Team-oriented with a flexible and proactive approach
- Previous experience in administration, office support, or accounting support preferred
- Experience arranging business travel and coordinating schedules is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment

Additional Information
- Hybrid work is available, with 3 days per week in the office
- Early morning or late-night support may occasionally be required depending on sports broadcasting schedules
