Electrical Tech / Panel Builder

Location: Georgetown, KY

Compensation: Up to $65,000 annually

Employment Type: Full-Time, On-site

Travel: Up to 35%

Japanese language ability required to support communication related to technical projects, equipment installation, and coordination with Japanese-speaking stakeholders.

Position Summary

Responsible for building and wiring electrical control panels, secondary wiring, troubleshooting, and commissioning material handling and automated equipment. This position requires hands-on electrical experience, the ability to read technical drawings, and Japanese language ability for relevant project communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Read electrical blueprints and schematics to build and wire control panels.
• Assemble panels incorporating PLCs, power supplies, motor controls, and safety circuits.
• Perform secondary wiring for conveyors, machinery, and automated cells.
• Troubleshoot and debug equipment following fabrication and installation.
• Support equipment commissioning and field installation activities.
• Maintain an organized and safe panel-building work area.
• Travel to customer facilities as required for projects.

Qualifications

Required:

• Associate degree in a related technical field, relevant certification, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience building, wiring, troubleshooting, or repairing industrial control panels.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of PLC, motor control, power supply, and safety circuits.
• Japanese language ability required for job-related technical and project communication.
• Ability to travel up to 35%.

Preferred:

• Experience with conveyor systems, automated machinery, or manufacturing equipment.
• Experience supporting automotive manufacturing or systems integration projects.
