Account Manager – Semiconductor Industry

Position Summary
A global semiconductor-related manufacturer is seeking an experienced Account Manager to support key customer relationships in the Austin market.
This position will be responsible for managing major customer accounts, driving sales growth, coordinating with global teams, and serving as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in semiconductor, advanced packaging, electronic components, or a related technical industry and is comfortable working with engineering, manufacturing, finance, purchasing, and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with key customers and business partners
- Serve as the main point of contact between customers and internal global teams
- Develop and execute account strategies to support sales growth
- Identify customer needs and translate technical product features into business value
- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, finance, purchasing, and sales support teams
- Handle customer inquiries, issues, and commercial discussions
- Prepare and deliver customer presentations and business updates
- Support negotiations, account planning, and long-term relationship development
- Coordinate projects and customer-related activities across multiple departments
- Attend occasional evening meetings with overseas teams
- Participate in onsite customer meetings as needed
Qualifications
- 6–8 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer relationship management
- Experience in semiconductor, advanced packaging, electronic components, or a related technical industry strongly preferred
- Experience managing major customer accounts and meeting sales targets
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong project and program management abilities
- Ability to work effectively with global and cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Japanese/English bilingual skills are a plus but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
