We are seeking a Noise & Vibration Development Engineer to analyze, test, and optimize automotive systems to reduce unwanted noise, harshness, and vibration while supporting product development and successful program launches.
Key Responsibilities
Develop CAD models, schematics, and physical prototypes based on technical requirements.
Plan and execute testing and validation activities, analyze data, and refine designs based on performance and failure analysis.
Collaborate with manufacturing and process teams on production integration, material selection, scalability, and cost effectiveness.
Track project milestones and budgets and coordinate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Support resolution of technical and program issues affecting product launches.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Design, Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
3+ years of hands-on product or systems development experience in the automotive manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, simulation/testing software, and data analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Strong project coordination, communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Self-motivated, hands-on, and results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Travel & Physical Requirements
Business travel up to approximately 25%, including auto and air travel.
Work may include customer office and manufacturing facility visits.
Ability to occasionally lift component parts up to 25 lbs. with assistance as required.
