Office Administration Assistant (Japanese Bilingual)

Location: El Segundo, CA | 100% On-site

Employment Type: Full-time, Non-exempt

Pay Range: $20.00–$26.00/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Summary

Our client is seeking an Office Administration Assistant to support general office operations at its El Segundo location. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone who is organized, communicative, and comfortable handling a variety of administrative and office support responsibilities.

The company is looking for someone who can grow within the organization, with potential opportunities to explore other departments and career paths in the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily office administration and general affairs activities
  • Manage reception duties, including door monitoring, visitors, and guest passes
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Order and maintain office supplies
  • Assist with invoice processing and other basic accounting-related administrative tasks
  • Coordinate with building management regarding facility and maintenance issues
  • Communicate with outside vendors and contractors, including IT-related service providers
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and functional office environment
  • Participate in office emergency preparedness activities and drills
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Entry-level candidates and recent graduates are welcome
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Basic conversational Japanese is preferred; Japanese reading and writing skills are not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple responsibilities
  • Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of office needs
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer visa sponsorship
