Job Title: Accounting Manager / Senior Accounting Manager

Location: Cullman, Alabama

Salary: Manager: $90-110K/ Senior Manager: $110-130K

Overview

This position oversees accounting and administrative functions, reporting directly to the CFO. The role manages a team and is responsible for operations, financial reporting, and team development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AP/AR and daily accounting operations
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Handle reporting to Japan HQ, including consolidated reporting
• Manage budgeting and variance analysis
• Coordinate with auditors and external accounting firms
• Supervise administrative functions such as cost accounting and expatriate support (as needed)

Qualifications

• Accounting/finance experience with management experience
• Business-level Japanese and English
• Experience with reporting to Japan HQ and consolidated financials

Preferred

• Experience in Japanese companies
• Cost accounting experience
• Manufacturing accounting background
