Business Development & Account Manager (U.S. Market)

Location: New Albany,Ohio

Hiring: Full-time, Exempt

Work hours: 9am-5:30pm (37.5h/week)

Work Style: 100% on-site (No hybrid)

A Japanese manufacturing company is seeking a motivated professional to support and expand our business in the U.S. market through account management and business development initiatives.

This role is based in Ohio and involves managing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth in collaboration with internal teams. The position includes regular travel to support customers across the Southeastern U.S. (NC, SC, TN, AL, GA).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow existing accounts while developing new business opportunities
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers and build long-term relationships
  • Lead sales activities including pricing, quotations, negotiations, and order coordination
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and monitor market trends
  • Support customer trials and convert them into commercial business
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction
  • Gather market intelligence and contribute to business strategy
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events
