Translator and Interpreter

Job Title: Interpreter/Translator

Industry: Manufacturing

Location: Berne, IN

Work status: Perm/Full time 7:30 – 16:00, 40h/week

Others: Relocation support is considerable for applicable candidates

Responsibilities: (20%)

• Interpret in various meetings and daily communications at both office and manufacturing environment
• translate documents (English/Japanese)
• Ensure the meaning, feeling, intent of the original and technical words are accurately transmitted without distortion, omissions or additions.

• Engineering Project Support
• Production Kaizen Support
• Expat family support
• HR/ Admin

Qualifications:

• English and Japanese bilingual (English at an idiomatic level is preferred)
• Interpretation and translation experience is preferred but not a must
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Word, Excel, and PPT
• Ability to work in a team environment.
