Our client is a fast-growing Japanese trading company with a venture-minded culture, supplying advanced materials and components to leading manufacturers in the U.S. and Asia. The company imports products primarily from Asia and provides high-quality materials used in semiconductors, automotive, EV, and energy industries.

Position Summary

The company is seeking a motivated and growth-oriented Sales Representative to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional interested in international business and technical trading.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, collaborative, and comfortable communicating in both English and Japanese in a multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
  • Develop new business opportunities.
  • Join meetings with U.S. and Japanese clients as an interpreter and coordinator.
  • Prepare proposals, quotes, and presentation materials.
  • Handle import/export paperwork and coordinate shipments.
  • Communicate with suppliers in Asia and customers in the U.S.
  • Travel within the U.S. and to Japan (1–2 times a year).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (recent graduates are welcome to apply).
  • Bilingual in Japanese and English — fluency in both languages for business communication.
  • Strong English communication and interpretation skills.
  • Team-oriented, eager to learn, and able to work cooperatively across departments.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (Sponsorship is not available).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for commuting and local business visits.
