Job: Senior Aviation Repair/Maintenance Technician, Direct Hire, Full-Time

Location: DeSoto, TX (100% Onsite)

Pay: 70K/year (DOE)

Working hours: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday–Friday

The company is a leading aviation maintenance organization specializing in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) of aircraft engine heat exchangers. We support a wide range of aviation customers, including airlines, engine maintenance facilities, and distributors.

Position Summary

The compnay is seeking an experienced and highly professional Senior Technician (Team Lead) to provide technical expertise and leadership within our maintenance team. This role is responsible for supporting daily operations, mentoring technicians, and ensuring all work is performed in compliance with OEM specifications and FAA regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior technicians.

2. Support training and mentoring of team members.

3. Assist in coordinating daily shop activities to support efficient operations.

4. Perform maintenance, inspections, tests and repairs up to full overhaul of heat exchanger components in

accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions and FAA regulations.

5. Teardown, clean, inspect, test, repair and overhaul parts as required.

6. Accurately prepare documentation, service reports and test data.

7. Operate test/cleaning equipment as required by the OEM maintenance manuals and other work instructions.

8. Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents such as safety rules, FAA Regulations, work orders, service bulletins, repair manuals, and customer requirements.

9. Comply with all company policies.

10. Coordinate with colleagues when reporting status of jobs in progress.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in an aviation maintenance role required
  • Must pass pre‑employment and random drug testing in accordance with DOT regulations
  • Welding experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
