Our client is seeking a Deputy Construction Manager to support a large-scale semiconductor construction project, specifically focused on Ultra Pure Water (UPW) systems. This role will work closely with the Construction Manager to oversee all phases of the project, from design through completion, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction or semiconductor projects
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience
- Experience with water systems and supporting mechanical, electrical, and control systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- Knowledge of building codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Familiarity with OSHA safety protocols (OSHA 30 preferred)
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency in computer applications and project tools
- Ability to analyze issues and make informed decisions
- Ability to manage conflicts and collaborate with diverse teams
- Physical ability to be present on construction sites as needed
- Ability to travel to project sites if required
Responsibilities
- Support the Construction Manager in overseeing all phases of UPW system construction
- Coordinate and supervise contractors across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning
- Review and interpret project documentation, including blueprints and schematics
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and sequencing of construction activities
- Ensure compliance with codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Conduct constructability reviews and communicate issues proactively
- Support BIM processes and design document management
- Monitor project progress and perform quality inspections
- Assist in cost forecasting and budget tracking (including cost vs. actual analysis)
- Participate in subcontractor selection and contract review
- Support development and execution of recovery plans when needed
- Attend project meetings and contribute to schedule updates and risk assessments
- Help develop and maintain a high-performing team environment
- Collaborate with stakeholders including engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and system owners
