IT Business Analyst – FX Pricing (Application Support)

📍 Location: New York (Grand Central area) or Jersey City, NJ

🏠 Hybrid: 2–3 days onsite per week

About the Role

A leading global financial institution is seeking an IT Business Analyst to support its front‑office FX Pricing operations. This position plays a key role in supporting both Trading and Sales teams, ensuring that FX pricing workflows run smoothly and that systems are optimized for efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.

This role is based in New York, US. Visa/Work Permit sponsorship may be available for eligible candidates.

What You’ll Do

• Support the FX Trading and Sales desks by facilitating front‑office FX pricing workflows.
• Coordinate interactions between pricing systems and other market‑related internal applications.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, ensuring timely communication based on business impact.
• Serve as a liaison between local business users and overseas development teams to refine system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
• Participate in system upgrade cycles, including validation, user testing coordination, deployment support, and post‑release checks.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in the Global Markets domain.
• 3+ years of experience in a client‑facing or application support role.
• Strong understanding of FX products, particularly Spot, Swap, and Forward.
• Business‑level proficiency in Japanese and English.
• Experience with SQL, FIX protocol, or RESTful APIs is a plus.
• Solid background in Agile environments; familiarity with Kanban and JIRA preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Highly motivated, self‑directed, and able to work independently as well as within a collaborative team.
