We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Support Specialist to support daily operations and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, sales, and internal departments to facilitate smooth order processing and timely communication.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner
Process sales orders, purchase orders, and returns accurately in the system
Coordinate with warehouse and shipping teams regarding order status and delivery schedules
Communicate product availability, lead times, and pricing information
Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary
Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
Assist Sales team with order tracking and account support
Prepare reports related to order status, backorders, and customer requests
Support billing inquiries and coordinate with Accounting as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Experience with ERP or order management systems preferred
Prior customer service or administrative experience preferred
Working Conditions
Full-time, onsite position
Standard business hours (8AM – 5PM)
Office environment with frequent coordination with warehouse operations
