A Japanese component trading company is seeking a Customer Service Specialist with experience in import/export for its Kennesaw, GA office. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and managing client accounts, ensuring smooth order processing, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for building long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries.
Manage and support existing client accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Process orders, coordinate shipments, and handle import/export documentation.
Communicate with internal departments (sales, logistics, accounting) to ensure seamless service delivery.
Resolve customer issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records in CRM and internal systems.
Assist with preparing reports and tracking customer activity.
Support sales efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance customer relationships.
Travel approximately 25% of the time to visit customers or attend industry events, as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Experience in a customer service or account support role in the import/export industry.
Experience in the components trading industry is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of customer service principles and business communication.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
