Job Title: Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support financial reporting and closing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in inventory-based or parts sourcing/trading environments, with the ability to handle high-volume transactions and complex inventory activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
• Prepare and review journal entries and general ledger accounts
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
• Monitor cash flow, AP/AR aging, and resolve discrepancies
• Manage inventory accounting, including tracking, valuation, and reconciliation
• Ensure accurate reporting of inventory
• Perform account and bank reconciliations
• Support financial reporting and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Assist with audits and tax-related filings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in:

-Inventory-heavy businesses

-Parts sourcing, trading, or manufacturing environments

• Strong knowledge of general accounting, AP/AR, and financial reporting
• Experience with inventory accounting
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in accounting software (SAGE) and Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and organizational skills
