General Affairs / Office Administrator

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Position Summary

Our client, a Japanese entertainment industry company is seeking a General Affairs / Office Administrator to support overall office operations and internal coordination. This role will serve as a key point of contact for general affairs, reception, courier handling, and basic IT-related inquiries, while supporting smooth communication across departments and with vendors. Once the team expands to two members, more flexible work arrangements may be considered.

Key Responsibilities

General Affairs & Office Operations

  • Handle general affairs duties and day-to-day office administration
  • Reception and front desk support
  • Courier and mail handling
  • Internal coordination and cross-department communication

HR & Labor Support

  • Support HR-related administrative tasks, including employee documentation and internal processes
  • Assist with labor-related matters in coordination with HR, payroll, and external vendors
  • Maintain and organize HR-related records and documentation

IT & Systems Support

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT-related inquiries
  • Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors
  • Basic understanding of network management and system maintenance

Qualifications

Preferred

  • 4–5+ years of experience in General Affairs / Office Administration
  • Strong IT literacy
  • Basic understanding of network management and system maintenance
  • Experience communicating with IT departments and vendors
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Knowledge of HR and labor-related matters
  • Experience working in a corporate office environment within a fast-paced industry

Language Requirements

  • Japanese language proficiency preferred (communication with Japan HQ)
  • Strong English skills required (English is used frequently in daily operations)
