Position: Part-Time HR and Accounting Assistant – Japanese/English Bilingual

Location: Houston, TX

Hours: 4-5 hours a day / 3 days a week

Pay: $21-22/HR

Employment type: Temp/ Long term

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist expats related tasks such as VISA issues and individual tax returns. 
  • Provide support to new coming and leaving expats. 
  • Assist accounting clerical work such as confirmation of account receivable
  • Back-office work for preparation of audit documents
  • Daily office administration related duties. 
  • Filing and document management. 
  • All other duties and/or support as assigned. 

Requirements: 

  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook a must 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English 
  • Ability to work with flexibility. 
  • Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills. 

Organization Relationships: 

  • Will work with all levels in the organization.
