Project Support Coordinator
Location: Concord, Vaughan area
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Hybrid, flexible hours available)
Pay: $55,000 – $70,000 annually

About the Role
The Project Support Coordinator provides coordination and administrative support for engineering and product development activities in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. Working closely with project managers, engineering teams, suppliers, and internal departments, this role helps keep projects organized through schedule coordination, documentation, communication, and follow-up on action items.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys supporting multiple teams in a collaborative environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project schedules, timelines, and deliverables to help keep projects on track
- Coordinate communication between engineering, procurement, suppliers, and other internal teams
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, status reports, KPI tracking, and project records
- Follow up on action items, outstanding requests, and project updates with internal teams and suppliers
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute meeting materials and follow-up notes
- Assist with prototype builds, material tracking, supplier communication, and other day-to-day project support activities
- Support procurement activities, including tracking materials, parts, tooling, and deliveries
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Business, Project Management, Operations, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or automotive environment in a coordination or support role
- Experience coordinating schedules, documentation, reporting, or communication across multiple teams
- A collaborative and flexible approach, with a willingness to support different teams and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Smartsheet are considered assets.
- Japanese language skills are considered an asset
- Must have own vehicle and a valid Ontario G driver’s license
