Summary of the Position:
Our client is seeking a hands-on Marketing Project Manager to execute consumer marketing initiatives across the U.S.
This individual contributor position has no direct reports and focuses primarily on project management, campaign execution, agency direction, and coordination between the U.S. team and Japan headquarters.
The ideal candidate can translate established marketing strategies into actionable plans, manage multiple online and offline campaigns, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate marketing strategies established by Japan headquarters into actionable plans for the U.S. market.
- Manage multiple marketing projects, including schedules, budgets, milestones, deliverables, and risks.
- Direct external agencies and vendors by establishing KPIs, monitoring progress, and reviewing deliverables.
- Execute digital campaigns, including paid social media, paid search, SEO, social media, and landing pages.
- Coordinate in-store marketing initiatives, including POP displays, signage, promotional materials, and fixtures.
- Partner with operations and field teams to roll out campaigns across multiple locations.
- Monitor campaign performance using metrics such as ROAS, CPA, CTR, CVR, engagement, and store traffic.
- Coordinate regularly with internal teams and Japan headquarters.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on B2C marketing experience.
- Strong project management experience across multiple campaigns, deadlines, and stakeholders.
- Experience directing external marketing agencies or vendors.
- Working knowledge of both digital and offline marketing.
- Understanding of key digital marketing metrics, including ROAS, CPA, CTR, and CVR.
- Business-level English and conversational-level Japanese.
- Ability to execute within established strategies and brand guidelines.
- Ability to manage projects independently in an individual contributor role.
- Ability to attend occasional meetings with Japan outside standard U.S. business hours.
- Ability to travel to Colorado approximately once per month.

- Experience in entertainment, multi-location retail, consumer products, or food and beverage.
- Experience with local SEO, retail media, or influencer marketing.
- Experience coordinating in-store promotions across multiple locations.
- Interest in Japanese anime, gaming, intellectual property, or pop culture.
- Experience working with a Japan-based headquarters or international team.

- West Coast candidates are strongly preferred due to regular collaboration with Japan.
