Position Summary

Our client, a Japanese Preschool is seeking a Preschool Teacher to join its collaborative early childhood education team. The school offers a Montessori-inspired curriculum that integrates play-based learning, nature exploration, and Japanese language immersion. Key Responsibilities

Classroom Instruction & Student Development

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for preschool-aged children.
  • Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Incorporate early childhood education best practices into daily teaching activities.
  • Support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum and educational programs.
  • Participate in team discussions and contribute to the school's learning environment.

Professional Development

  • Stay current with best practices and developments in early childhood education.
  • Apply new teaching strategies and educational methods in the classroom.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children required.
  • Minimum 12 ECE (Early Childhood Education) units preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Passion for early childhood education and child development.
