Asset Management Associate – Japanese Bilingual

Summary

A real estate development and investment company is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Asset Management Associate to support both office operations and real estate development activities.

This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient day-to-day office administration while assisting with market research, project coordination, reporting, and communication with internal stakeholders and external business partners. The ideal candidate is bilingual in Japanese and English, highly organized, and interested in real estate development and asset management.


Key Responsibilities

Office Administration & Accounting Support

  • Manage front desk and general office administration functions
  • Handle incoming mail, packages, phone calls, and email correspondence
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and business travel arrangements
  • Review and process invoices and expense-related documentation
  • Assist with budget tracking and office expense reporting
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships
  • Coordinate with building management and support office lease administration
  • Maintain company records and administrative documents

Real Estate Development & Asset Management Support

  • Support real estate development and investment projects through administrative and coordination activities
  • Communicate with internal teams, headquarters, consultants, and external business partners
  • Schedule meetings and prepare meeting materials and minutes
  • Collect, organize, and maintain project-related information and documentation
  • Conduct market research and gather property-related data
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and internal reference materials
  • Assist with site visits and occasional business travel as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field
  • Japanese/English bilingual proficiency (spoken and written)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Interest in real estate development, asset management, or commercial real estate

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous administrative, project coordination, or business support experience
  • Experience working in a corporate office environment
  • Real estate industry exposure is a plus

Additional Requirements

  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License
  • Ability to travel occasionally within the U.S.
  • Ability to work onsite in Torrance, CA
