Salary Range: $50,000 – $65,000 (based on experience)

Job Summary

Our client, a Japanese company is looking for a Purchaser. This role is responsible for coordinating procurement-related communication between our overseas offices and domestic suppliers to support customer requests. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Japanese, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate sourcing activities and negotiate pricing with suppliers
• Enter supplier quotations and related data accurately into internal systems
• Place purchase orders and manage delivery follow-ups
• Provide aftercare support, including handling claims and issue resolution
• Maintain email communication with overseas offices, suppliers, and internal teams
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including visiting supplier facilities as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese (business level)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Willingness and ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks
