Event Support and Kitchen Cleaner -Japanese preferred

Title: Event Support / Kitchen Cleaner

Location: New York, NY (Upper East) ONSITE

Length: Temporary position for long term

Work hours: irregular work day; when we have events, around 3:30 pm – 10:30 pm (or until event work is completed) Approximately 1-5 days/month

Pay Rate: $21-25/hour (DOE)

*Japanese language is preferred.

【Summary】

•            Support kitchen work: washing & drying dishes, supporting chefs and floor staff, etc., all necessary work.

•            Support event floor: check and clean all event space, toilets, table settings, etc all necessary work.

•            Cleaning after events: light-clean toilets, event space, kitchen, etc. washing linens, clothes, etc. It could be the next day.

【Key Qualifications – Required】

•            Language level: need to communicate with Japanese chefs and floor staff to support them.

•            Others: MUST be good at housekeeping, cleaning work, and kitchen organizing, and must have a high hygienic sensibility standard.　

【Key Qualifications – Preferred】

•            A person who is clean, a person who likes and is knowledgeable about washing, cleaning, cooking, etc.

 •           A person who can do careful work efficiently　

•            A person who can take good care of items including glasses and tableware

•            A person who are able to solve problems calmly in any case and actively cooperate with other staff
