Position: Technical Trainer Semiconductor Equipment

Position Summary

A global technology company in the semiconductor industry is seeking a Technical Trainer to support training activities for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

In this role, you will provide technical training to internal engineers and customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and installation. You will also help develop training materials and maintain training equipment and facilities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys sharing technical knowledge and supporting others in a hands-on environment.

Candidates with semiconductor equipment, manufacturing equipment, or maintenance experience are encouraged to apply.

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user training for semiconductor equipment
  • Provide technical training for internal staff and customers, including equipment operation, preventive maintenance, applications, and installation
  • Develop and update technical manuals and training materials
  • Review and improve technical procedures and documentation
  • Maintain training equipment and training facilities
  • Coordinate with customers regarding training schedules and needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to share technical knowledge and support training activities
  • Travel to customer sites as needed to conduct training sessions

 

Qualifications

  • Experience with semiconductor equipment, manufacturing equipment, or equipment maintenance
  • Semiconductor industry experience is preferred
  • Prior training or technical instruction experience is a plus
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and professionally
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel within the U.S. (up to approximately 50%)
  • Flexible to support different work schedules when needed
  • Bachelors degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience

 

Work Environment

  • Onsite position based in San Jose, CA
  • Work in both office and cleanroom environments
  • Cleanroom suit, facemask, gloves, and safety glasses required when working in cleanroom areas
