Overview

We are seeking a motivated Field Service Staff to support field service operations for diesel generators and related equipment. This role provides hands‑on technical assistance, customer support, and coordination across internal teams. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong customer‑first mindset, willingness to learn, and ability to work in field environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with field service, repair, and maintenance of diesel generators (and compressors as applicable)
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone and email, including troubleshooting and warranty assistance
  • Support QA/QC, Production, Parts, Procurement, and Customer Support teams
  • Assist with parts identification, preparation, and service setup
  • Track service cases and perform administrative tasks using standard computer tools
  • Research technical issues using internal and external resources
  • Support warehouse and inventory control activities
  • Participate in training, continuing education, and industry events
  • Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

  • Willingness to travel frequently and work in field environments
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills required
  • Ability to safely perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs

Work Environment

  • Frequent exposure to mechanical parts, noise, and industrial environments
  • Use of personal protective equipment as required
