🔍 What You’ll Do

As a Tax Senior Manager, you will be a trusted advisor to clients and a leader within the firm:

• Lead U.S. federal & state tax compliance for corporate and individual clients
• Manage cross-border tax matters, especially Japan–U.S. coordination
• Review tax returns and workpapers prepared by staff
• Serve as a primary point of contact for key client relationships
• Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors
• Identify tax planning opportunities and contribute to advisory projects
• Support M&A tax due diligence, including exposure analysis and structuring considerations
• Drive business development efforts and expand client relationships
• Mentor and develop staff while fostering a high-performance team culture
• Ensure quality, deadlines, and compliance standards are consistently met

✅ What We’re Looking For

• CPA preferred
• 10+ years of tax experience (public accounting strongly preferred)
• Strong expertise in U.S. corporate and individual taxation
• Experience with international / cross-border tax matters
• Background in M&A tax diligence or transaction advisory is a strong plus
• Proven ability to develop business and win new clients
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead client engagements independently
• Japanese language skills
