Essential Job Functions

Administration and Management of Quality

  • Conduct design review using checklist and MDS; create DR reports and consult supervisor
  • Perform part inspections, create documentation, and report findings to vendors
  • Create mold inspection reports and communicate with vendors
  • Attend tooling trials (domestic/international), observe and document mold trials
  • Track issues until resolution and obtain manager approval
  • Establish and maintain quality evaluation systems and procedures (including ISO systems)

Other & Miscellaneous Duties

  • Continuously improve processes for efficiency and cost reduction
  • Provide accurate reports with minimal errors
  • Perform clerical and administrative support tasks
  • Handle special projects and additional duties as assigned
  • Maintain ethical standards and report issues to management
  • Ensure strong communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Follow company policies and maintain a safe, clean work environment


Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (two-year college or technical school acceptable)
  • 5-10 years of experience in quality-related fields at factory/manufacturing site (preferably molds, metals, or plastics)
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Proficiency in using Office 365 without issues

Physical & Work Environment

  • Work may occur in plant environment with noise
  • Vision requirements: close, peripheral, depth perception
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands
  • Ability to operate machinery and tools
