IT Coordinator – Japanese Restaurant

Location: New York, NY

Hours: Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

Salary: $67–$70K (DOE) plus bonus

A Japanese restaurant is seeking a proactive IT Coordinator to support the implementation, operation, and maintenance of IT systems across our U.S. operations. This role works closely with the IT Supervisor/Manager and serves as a key point of contact for system-related matters, hardware setup, and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Support IT system implementation, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance
• Assist with in-store hardware setup and troubleshooting (POS, order systems, etc.)
• Provide IT support for business PCs, smartphones, and internal systems
• Coordinate with vendors and act as a liaison between IT and other departments
• Support system security, audits, and performance reporting
• Assist with IT projects, new technology evaluation, and process improvements

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in IT systems, support, or system maintenance
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware, and software
• Business-level English required (Japanese is a plus)
• Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry preferred
