We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer to join a globally recognized organization and serve as a key partner to the CEO and executive leadership team.

This is a high-impact leadership role for a finance executive who thrives in a cross-border environment and is passionate about driving financial excellence, operational rigor, and business growth.

🌟 What You’ll Do

As CFO, you will lead all aspects of Finance & Accounting while acting as a strategic advisor to the business:

• Own end-to-end financial operations including accounting, FP&A, cash flow, and reporting
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business growth
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and Japan HQ reporting (J-SOX)
• Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team on strategy, performance, and decision-making
• Lead audits, tax, and regulatory matters while managing risk and internal controls
• Oversee cross-border financial reporting, including transfer pricing and HQ communications
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team
• Drive process improvements, systems optimization, and automation initiatives

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including leadership roles
• Strong expertise in U.S. GAAP, J-SOX, and cross-border finance operations
• Bilingual fluency in Japanese and English (essential)
• Experience working with Japan HQ or global organizations preferred
• Background in consumer products, licensing, or royalty-driven business is a plus
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred
