Administrative Manager (Accounting / HR / General Affairs) – Japanese Company
A Japanese-affiliated company located in the Los Angeles area is seeking an experienced Administrative Manager to oversee accounting, HR, and general administration functions.
This is a key leadership role responsible for supporting overall business operations.

Torrance area, California
Salary
Approximately $100,000/year (depending on experience)
Working Hours
Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Weekends and federal holidays off
Position Overview
In this role, you will manage a wide range of administrative functions, including accounting, human resources, general affairs, and legal coordination.
You will play a critical role in maintaining smooth and compliant business operations.
■ Responsibilities
- Handle overall accounting operations, including accounts receivable and use of sales management systems
- Prepare and manage monthly and annual financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet) and closing processes
- Oversee recruitment and HR operations, including payroll and employee benefits administration
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Manage corporate documentation, including preparation, organization, and record-keeping
- Handle contracts, corporate filings, and legal matters, including coordination for litigation
- Oversee office operations, facilities, and company assets
- Perform other duties related to accounting, HR, and general administration
■ Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of management experience in administrative functions
- Business-level English proficiency required
- Japanese language skills (both verbal and written) required
- Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Understanding of working in a Japanese business environment
