Hourly Pay: $40-$43

Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 30 min. unpaid lunch break.

Location : San Jose, CA onsite

  • Employment Type: (A) Temp, (B) Temporary-to-Permanent (Temp-to-Hire), (C) Permanent 
  • Initial Period: Approximately three (3) months introductory / evaluation period under (B) and (C)
  • Potential Conversion: Subject to performance and business needs
  • Priority Skills: Payroll processing, Certified Payroll Reporting (CPR), compliance, and HR / administrative support
  • Availability: As soon as reasonably possible


Assignment Details (Preliminary):

  • Position: Temporary Admin (HR/GA) and Payroll / CPR Support Staff
  • Primary Responsibilities:
    • Certified Payroll Reporting (CPR) preparation and submission
    • Payroll data entry, timecard review, and reconciliation support
    • HR / General Affairs administrative support (employee records, onboarding/offboarding coordination, document management, etc.)
    • General administrative assistance to support daily office operations
  • Duration: at least 3 months (with potential extension or potential direct-hire opportunity depending on operational needs)
  • Required Skills / Experience:

Ideally 3 to 5 years of experience in payroll processing, certified payroll reporting (CPR), or HR / administrative support.

Experience in the construction industry and familiarity with compliance reporting requirements would be highly desirable.


  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet compliance deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information
  • Japanese language skills are not required, but would be considered a plus.
  • At this stage, our objective is to stabilize operations and establish a backup resource to ensure uninterrupted payroll and administrative functions while we assess our longer-term staffing needs.
