Role Overview
A senior-level Project & Asset Management Manager responsible for overseeing and optimizing a U.S. real estate portfolio (as LP), combining development management, asset performance, and financial oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle of real estate projects (planning → development → leasing → disposition)
- Coordinate with developers, contractors, and internal/external stakeholders
- Conduct market analysis and build financial models for investment decisions
- Oversee asset performance, leasing, tenant relations, and value optimization (NOI)
- Monitor budgets, risks, compliance, and reporting
- Travel for site visits and partner management
- Act as a bridge between U.S. operations and Tokyo HQ leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, or related field
- 8+ years in real estate development/asset management (multi-family preferred)
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and communication skills
- Knowledge of U.S. real estate regulations and property systems
- Ability to manage multiple assets and stakeholders across regions
Preferred
- Professional certifications (CPM, CCIM, RICS)
- Experience across asset types (commercial, residential, mixed-use)
- Established industry network
- Experience working for a Japanese corporation
