Role Overview

A senior-level Project & Asset Management Manager responsible for overseeing and optimizing a U.S. real estate portfolio (as LP), combining development management, asset performance, and financial oversight.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full lifecycle of real estate projects (planning → development → leasing → disposition)
  • Coordinate with developers, contractors, and internal/external stakeholders
  • Conduct market analysis and build financial models for investment decisions
  • Oversee asset performance, leasing, tenant relations, and value optimization (NOI)
  • Monitor budgets, risks, compliance, and reporting
  • Travel for site visits and partner management
  • Act as a bridge between U.S. operations and Tokyo HQ leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, or related field
  • 8+ years in real estate development/asset management (multi-family preferred)
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of U.S. real estate regulations and property systems
  • Ability to manage multiple assets and stakeholders across regions

Preferred

  • Professional certifications (CPM, CCIM, RICS)
  • Experience across asset types (commercial, residential, mixed-use)
  • Established industry network
  • Experience working for a Japanese corporation
