A food packaging company is seeking an Assistant Account Manager.

Location: Irving TX Hybrid

Salary: $80-90K/year DOE

Travel: Up to 20%

Work hours: 8am-5pm with 1 hour lunch


Job Summary:

The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering client relationships, facilitating client meetings, coordinating with internal teams for prototype development, assisting in order processing, and meticulously reviewing contracts.


Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in proactive communication with clients to discuss packaging proposals.

• Collaborate closely with product managers to conceptualize and develop prototype designs tailored to client needs.

• Provide support in processing orders and conducting thorough reviews of contractual agreements.

• Monitor industry trends and leverage market insights to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.

• Engage in domestic travel within the United States and internationally to Japan for business purposes.


Qualifications:

• Exceptional communication skills in English. Japanese language is highly preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Marketing, or other related fields.

• Ability to cultivate productive relationships with clients and collaborate effectively with

internal teams.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

• Flexibility and willingness to travel for business within the United States (Up to 20%) and to Japan (occasionally).

• Previous experience in account management, sales, or related fields is advantageous.
