Job: Aviation Repair/Maintenance Technician, Direct Hire, Full-Time
Location: DeSoto, TX (100% Onsite)
Pay: 70K/year (DOE)
Working hours: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday–Friday
Company Overview:
A leading aviation company specializing in Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) of aircraft engine heat exchangers. We collaborate with a wide range of aviation clients, including airlines, engine maintenance shops and distributors.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Perform maintenance, inspections, repairs and up to full overhaul of heat exchanger components in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions and FAA regulations.
- Teardown, clean, inspect, and repair parts as required.
- Accurately prepare documentation, service reports and test data.
- Operate test/cleaning equipment as required by the OEM maintenance manuals and other work instructions.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents such as safety rules, FAA Regulations, work orders, service bulletins, repair manuals, and customer requirements.
- Comply with all company policies.
- Coordinate with colleagues when reporting status of jobs in progress.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in aviation maintenance role preferred.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
- Able to work full time Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, on-site.
- Must agree to pre-employment drug screen and random drug testing in accordance with DOT regulations.
