Senior Director, Corporate Planning & FP & A – Japanese Bilingual

A rapidly expanding Japanese-headquartered company with a strong and growing presence across the United States is seeking a Senior Director, Corporate Planning & FP & A.


This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing FP&A and corporate planning, partnering closely with executive leadership, and driving both business performance and strategic initiatives. You’ll play a critical role in shaping the company’s growth trajectory, supporting key investment decisions, and building a scalable finance function.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead mid- to long-term business planning, annual budgeting, and rolling forecasts
  • Own performance management across the business, including KPI tracking, variance analysis, and executive reporting
  • Deliver actionable insights through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and profitability analysis across products, business units, and locations
  • Partner with senior leadership to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and new business opportunities
  • Drive M&A and post-merger integration (PMI) efforts, including performance tracking and process standardization
  • Design and enhance management frameworks, metrics, and reporting structures
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing FP&A and corporate planning team
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with global and local stakeholders to execute strategic priorities

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in FP&A, corporate planning, or strategic finance (corporation or consulting)
  • Strong track record of supporting executive decision-making through financial insights and business analysis
  • Experience leading teams and managing cross-functional initiatives
  • Ability to operate with high autonomy, ownership, and strategic mindset
  • Experience in global or multi-entity environments preferred
  • Exposure to M&A, PMI, or new business initiatives is a plus
