Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee all accounting operations and financial reporting functions. This role is responsible for maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting strategic financial planning, and leading the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss reports
• Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis
• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Monitor revenue, expenses, and financial performance
• Evaluate financial data and provide strategic recommendations to management
• Lead, train, and manage accounting staff

Additional Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis and feasibility studies
• Improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations
• Support quality management systems and internal audits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and corporate finance
• Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and internal controls
• Leadership experience managing accounting teams
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Japanese at an idiomatic level. English above business level.
